Your birth details are some of the most private things you can share. Here is exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and what choices you have - in simple words.

We collect your birth details to make your chart. We collect your contact details to tell you about the launch. We do not sell your data. We do not share it for ads. You can ask us to delete everything at any time.

1. Who we are

Cosmic Take ("we", "us") runs the Cosmic Take app and this website. Under data-protection law - including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) - Cosmic Take is the data fiduciary for the personal data in this policy.

2. What we collect

We collect only what the product needs:

  • Birth details - your birth date, time, and place. We use these only to make your kundli, your dashas, and your readings. Giving an exact birth time is your choice.
  • Contact details - your name, your email, and your phone number if you give it. We collect these when you join the launch list or make an account. We use your phone number only for launch and service messages you asked for, including on WhatsApp.
  • Device and usage data - device type, operating system, app version, crash logs, and usage events with no name attached. We use these to keep the app working well.

3. How we use your data

  • To make your chart and write your readings.
  • To tell you about the mobile launch, if you asked us to.
  • To help you and reply when you write to us.
  • To fix bugs, keep the app steady, and see which features matter.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your birth details for ads. We do not build ad profiles from your chart.

4. Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us run Cosmic Take. That means cloud hosting, analytics, crash reports, and message delivery - for example, the WhatsApp Business Platform for launch messages. Each one has a contract to use your data only as we tell them. We may also share data where the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active, or while you stay on the launch list. If you delete your account or unsubscribe, we delete your personal data within 30 days. The only exception is when the law tells us to keep certain records longer.

6. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that is wrong.
  • Delete your account and your data.
  • Stop messages at any time - every message has a way to opt out.

Users in India have these rights under the DPDP Act, 2023. Users in the EEA and UK have them under the GDPR. Users elsewhere have them under local law. To use any right, email cosmictake@gmail.com.

7. Children

Cosmic Take is not made for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you think a child has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.

8. Security

Your data is encrypted while it travels and while it sits on our servers. Inside our team, only people who need it to run the service can see it. We check those permissions often.

9. Grievance officer

As Indian law requires, you can reach our grievance officer with any concern about how your data is handled:

10. Changes to this policy

If we make a real change, we will tell you in the app or by email before it starts. We will never do it quietly.
